Mission description

Friendly Educational Mutual Aid (E.S.A) invites students, working professionals, and retirees to volunteer as weekly mentors for students whose parents cannot help them or arrange help. This includes personalized support for the child (confidence-building, study methods, guidance), expanding the child's awareness of the world around them, and helping parents become more involved in their child's education. We are seeking volunteer mentors to support children and young people toward success and independence, committing one hour per week during the school year. Specifically: You support the child in their academic journey, helping them rebuild confidence, review basics, and find effective learning approaches.
