LIRE & SOURIRE is an endowment fund created in 2011, working daily to guarantee access to books and reading for everyone. During lockdown, our team launched a new project: Reading and Smiling with Seniors, organizing readings aloud to EHPAD residents or independent living facilities for elderly people. Join the project by meeting seniors at EHPAD Bon Séjour to offer a time of conversation and individual reading with a resident. Readings can take place Wednesday or Friday afternoons between 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM. A long-term commitment is preferred to build social bonds and provide stability in residents' daily lives.
