HopHopFoodMission description
HopHopFood is a civic initiative empowering local actors—individuals and companies—with tools (digital and otherwise) to fight waste and food precarity among disadvantaged populations (students, migrants, single mothers, etc.). We have civic service volunteers, 250 volunteers, and salaried staff since 2020. In Toulouse, a dynamic paid branch manager leads operations. HopHopFood designed and manages a recovery service at sliding prices for people in precarity, recovering unsold food from shops via our digital platform (like a solidarity, free version of TooGoodToGo).
