Mission description

The Arts & Métiers Foundation and associations including Arts & Métiers Alumni, IESF, Women Engineers, and Métiers Projects are mobilizing for the "One Young Person, One Mentor" project to prevent school dropout starting in 8th grade. Mentoring aims to guide youth in their orientation from 8th to 9th grade in a structured way, help them recognize their competencies, build confidence, gain autonomy, and strengthen academic motivation. Benefits include developing listening, teaching, and leadership skills, and practicing soft skills like emotional intelligence, flexibility, and open-mindedness—competencies valuable in many professional contexts.
