Amaelles fights senior isolation through its Writers of Connection service. Volunteers from this small local team visit elderly people who feel lost in their paperwork. Whether filling documents while partially sighted, understanding administrative language, sorting mail, contacting pension or health insurance offices, understanding electricity bills, or organizing paperwork when a deceased spouse used to handle everything—a local coordinator assigns volunteers based on location, task type, and volunteer preferences and availability, offering support as needed.
