Mission description

This mentoring mission aims to foster autonomy and development of the supported person by establishing evolving, tailored objectives. We seek volunteers to support school-age children (elementary through high school) whose families cannot help directly or afford tutoring. You work with one child for one hour weekly at their home with a family member present. You are supported by a volunteer co-coordinator throughout, from initial contact through the entire mentoring period and join a broader network of volunteers.
