I join a volunteer workcamp restoring rural heritage and building community at the Church of Saint Alban

Mission description

Arcade is looking for volunteers ages 18-30 to participate in week-long heritage restoration workcamps between May and September to mobilize young people around rural heritage. Two activities: Manual work to restore the site—masonry, carpentry, moving materials, clearing brush—led by professionals or local volunteers; social activities with residents: discovering Saint Alban's heritage, a summer celebration with shared meals, visiting a Cerdon Valley vineyard, watching Arcade's theater troupe perform, and more. Located in Ain, perched on rocks overlooking the old Cerdon coast.
