I read stories to small groups of children in my community and I am over 50 years old
Ligue de l'enseignement - 61Mission description
Created in 1999 by writer Alexandre Jardin, Reading and Sharing is a national program for promoting reading and intergenerational solidarity. Senior volunteers intervene in various structures welcoming children, reading to small groups ages 0-12, once a week during school, extracurricular, or leisure time. This takes place in schools, nurseries, libraries, and recreation centers. More than sharing a story, you offer the joy of seeing a child's eyes light up as pages turn and share a special moment together.
