I contribute to professional integration for people with cognitive or mental disabilities

Mission description

Afuté is a public interest association partnering with companies and healthcare-social structures. Our mission: guide people with cognitive or mental disabilities (neurodevelopmental disorders, autism) toward mainstream employment. As a volunteer, assist specialized instructors facilitating groups of 4-6 people with disabilities. Our training builds social skills and collective food service competencies using behavior analysis pedagogy (ABA method), recommended by Regional Health Agencies. Joining Afuté as a volunteer means participating in an innovative approach supported by concrete results.
