Visit isolated and precarious elderly people to break their solitude and recreate social connection. In 2021, 46% of seniors felt isolated from family and 57% from friends. The region faces even higher loneliness rates—44% feel frequently lonely, 16% daily. Petits Frères des Pauvres volunteers act on the ground with proximity-based actions. As a volunteer, visit elderly people at home to combat their loneliness within a volunteer team.
