STEM4ALL

Who are we? According to Eurostat, women are significantly underrepresented in scientific, technological, and innovative education and business sectors: 28% of women are in engineering schools, 38.7% in scientific fields, 16% of women employees in tech, and 27% in scientific research. Over the past decade, the increase in women in scientific and technical education worldwide has only progressed by 4 percentage points, reaching 34%. We therefore wish to reduce these inequalities and increase women's participation in STEM. The STEM4All association was born from this observation: to provide access to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics—which hold great promise for the future—to these marginalized populations. Through mentoring, academic support, seminars, training programs, and field initiatives, we foster a scientific culture among young girls, women, and all people living in priority urban neighborhoods. This allows us to help them discover major career paths in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Indeed, these actions help improve access to higher education in scientific fields.
