In addition to the educational pathways and institutions presented by the national education system, The Excellence Forums value academic achievement (an exemplary accomplishment enabled by good conduct that has fostered positive engagement with educational pathways and institutions) and the moment of training (informal education acquired through internships and other encounters). The objective is threefold: reducing social, territorial and ethnic divisions, contributing to the republican goal of equal opportunity, and generating the symbolic capital that constitutes exemplary academic trajectories and successful integration (informal education).
