Created in 2008, the association La Soupape took on the mission to run an alcohol-free café dedicated to children aged 0 to 12 and their family and social circle to meet the needs for encounter, dialogue and cross-generational and cultural exchange. It is a friendly reception space laid out in several areas (games, reading, creativity, small garden) plus a bio and vegetarian light refreshment area, central to encounter and education around food (taste, balanced diet, product origin, consumer education, fighting waste). It operates with both paid staff and volunteers. It is a participatory space where anyone can get involved daily or invest in the associative project. It is also and above all a place to meet, encounter, play, chat, garden, create, participate in a workshop, celebrate a birthday… in a pleasant atmosphere suited to the whole family.
