Hébergeurs solidaires de Nantes et alentours

Our association seeks to provide shelter for isolated foreign minors while their minority status is being recognized. Our collective currently houses over 60 young people, boys and girls between 14 and 17 years old, with all types of hosts: families, elderly people, shared housing, students, single individuals, apprentices, and others. Often, host families provide accommodation on a rotating basis, with two or three different homes for one young person. Some host full-time over a longer or shorter period, while others offer emergency housing, particularly for girls, or temporary accommodation during weekends or school holidays. We are seeking new volunteer families or volunteer co-housing arrangements. During the day, the young people receive support through various programs (associated schools, traditional schooling, meals, and more).
