Founded in 1985 and based in Lyon, Habitat and Humanism Rhône is the first association of the Habitat and Humanism Movement. For over 40 years, in response to increasing precarity affecting more and more families struggling to find housing, Habitat and Humanism Rhône has offered innovative solutions ranging from emergency accommodation to permanent housing located in the heart of the Lyon metropolitan area, in balanced neighborhoods. The individuals and families welcomed are supported in their reintegration journey by our mixed teams of volunteers and paid staff. Since April 2018, our Solidarity Stopovers have offered shared meals, professional integration and wellness workshops to build connections and restore self-confidence.
