At the entrance of the Juvenile Detention Facility, in our premises sheltered from rain and sun, families of incarcerated minors (aged 13 to 18) wait for visiting hours. We listen to them without judgment, offering them beverages, biscuits, and sweets. We provide them with information on various matters: scheduling visits, how to call them, bringing them clothes, meeting with the educator, etc. It is a wonderful place for exchange with parents who are often lost and overwhelmed.
