Friendly School Assistance (E.S.A) is a nonprofit association established under French law in 1901, approved as a complement to public education, recognized as serving the public interest, apolitical and non-denominational, founded in 1969. Each year 80,000 children leave the school system without a diploma. E.S.A's mission is to combat school failure with a commitment to equity. Based on the principle that all children deserve equal opportunity, it offers volunteer support to students whose parents cannot help them or afford additional tutoring due to lack of knowledge and financial means. Our work focuses on school-age children from primary through secondary level. It operates on three key principles: - Individualized support for each child to restore their confidence and foster independence - Raising parental awareness of the importance of academic work - Opening doors to the wider world through cultural outings
