Emmaüs Défi

5 missions available

Founded in 2007, Emmaüs Défi has the mission of combating exclusion by helping people in situations of severe precarity regain a dignified place in society through work. The economic activity of the insertion workshop is based on the collection, sorting, storage, and sale in two shops located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. The 155 employees who participate in this reuse activity come from situations of severe precarity and join Emmaüs Défi to begin an integration journey toward a stable personal and professional situation. In parallel with their work, they also benefit from adapted and personalized support on health, housing, and return to employment topics. Emmaüs Défi is thus both an association working for the reintegration of the greatly excluded and a major player in the circular economy in Paris, with 1,200 tons of objects collected and revalued each year.
