In the digital age, it is urgent to support those who lack the means to equip themselves or who have not had the opportunity to master the basics of using a computer or smartphone. Indeed, 40% of French people report difficulties with their digital usage, and 25% are unable to find even the slightest information online. Digital exclusion reinforces existing social difficulties: poverty, unemployment, isolation, disabilities, and more. This is why Emmaüs Connect has been working since 2013 with a single objective: to make digital technology an opportunity for everyone. Emmaüs Connect reception centers serve as the entry point for all the people we support. After an initial registration appointment, our clients can benefit from phone credit top-ups, equipment at solidarity rates, and free access to all of our digital skills training activities.
