Centre socioculturel "Détente et loisirs"

Throughout France, social centers are neighborhood-based facilities that foster democratic debate, support residents' projects, and build better living conditions, today and for tomorrow. They also offer services and activities—theater, crafts, music, visual arts, chess, puzzles, gaming—that are social, educational, cultural, and family-oriented to meet the needs of their communities. Since 1970, our popular education association, recognized as a Social Center, has created connections and solidarity, supported or initiated actions and services for the entire population to promote better living together and contribute to the social and cultural vitality of our municipality. An ambitious commitment in a difficult social and economic context, but a major priority for the development of Coteau.
