Banque Alimentaire de l'Oise

The Food Bank of Oise was created in 1994. It is affiliated with the French Federation of Food Banks (FFBA), which brings together 79 Food Banks and 29 regional branches. The FFBA is itself a member of the European Federation of Food Banks, which comprises 388 Food Banks in 24 countries. Food Banks today represent the largest network in the fight against hunger and poverty, with the fight against food waste as their guiding principle. No food is purchased, and on our territory, approximately 75% of our supplies come from rescued products. Our Mission: "Together, let us help people restore themselves" "Together": we are the central link in a network spanning from food suppliers to people in economic difficulty, through humanitarian associations and local social action centers that fight poverty every day. "Let us help people restore themselves": over the years we have developed genuine expertise in food aid. But we are also an effective player in the social inclusion of the most disadvantaged. In this way, we help people rebuild themselves.
