Association Annaba Créative

Annaba Créative is an association dedicated to speaking, reading, writing, and taking action in a spirit of cultural diversity through access to artistic and cultural practices and knowledge. Annaba Créative believes that mastery of writing, reading, and diction opens the way to dialogue. Founded in 1997, it works to educate children in difficult circumstances and promotes employment opportunities for isolated and illiterate mothers through artistic and cultural practices. The association aims to provide access to culture as a way to open up to the world—an objective set by founder Hayat HARCHI when creating Annaba. By triggering creativity among young people aged 4 to 18 who face difficulties, Annaba Créative implements engaging activities through dance, theater, music, and storytelling. Writing a story allows children to reconcile themselves with writing and reading. They participate in a collective work and realize that each cultural background can bring its richness to the creation. The various activities we carry out during and outside school hours help trigger the child's creativity.
