Albatros supports people living with serious illnesses and dependent elderly persons. The association brings together volunteers from diverse backgrounds who share a common sensitivity to the physical, psychological, and spiritual suffering of people with serious, progressive, or terminal illnesses. Palliative care is active and comprehensive care intended for people of all ages experiencing severe suffering due to their health condition affected by one or more serious illness(es), and in particular those approaching the end of their lives. It aims to improve the quality of life for patients, their families, and their caregivers.
