The Social Children's Home of Somme welcomes and supports unaccompanied minors (aged 15+) referred by the Department's Child Welfare Service. Within two secure and caring Services for Autonomy Support in Amiens and Abbeville, educational teams provide personalized support for 25 young people aged 15-18. They are assisted with daily life: administrative procedures, school or work integration, French learning, and independent living skills. The goal is to help them find their place in society at their own pace, while valuing their skills, courage, and stories.
