I help participants with disabilities build confidence in an adapted theater workshop

Mission description

Assist the workshop facilitator with a team of 4-5 volunteers for a group of 15 participants with mental and/or cognitive disabilities. The workshop creates a theatrical performance to build confidence and self-esteem. You'll help participants gain confidence and comfort with learning and performing skits, culminating in a small end-of-year show. No prior theater experience or knowledge of mental disability is required.
