I help people struggling with illiteracy

Mission description

You'll provide individual support to an adult struggling with illiteracy, helping them improve basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic. Support is unlimited in duration and requires regular availability of at least one hour per week. New volunteers receive training and support, with pedagogical tools available to prepare sessions. Regular meetings with association members are held throughout the year: at the start of school, in December with a Christmas meal, in spring, and in June with a picnic.
