In late summer 2026, France Nature Environnement launches a major national campaign on illegal dumpsites. The goal is to identify all recent or past waste dumps across France and overseas to finally eradicate this phenomenon and restore environmental health. You can identify dumpsites during walks in cities or forests or using geolocation tools like Google Maps and Geoportail. You'll use the Sentinelles de la nature platform to document observations. Webinars will help you learn the tools and methods.
