Mission description

Arcade seeks volunteers ages 18-30 for one-week participatory restoration workcamps from June to October. Engage in manual work—masonry, carpentry, moving, clearing—under professional or local volunteer supervision, plus social activities with residents: nursing home visits, shared meals, theatrical performances. Founded in the 11th century, Bassac Abbey has survived history's changes and is now a historical monument.
