The Read and Make Read initiative invites volunteers to share the pleasure of reading with children. You will visit a school to read stories to small groups of children. The objective is simple: foster a love of reading, encourage intergenerational connection, and contribute to children's cultural development. Volunteers read picture books to groups of 2-6 children, discuss the stories with them, and participate in calm, friendly time around books. Sessions typically last 20-30 minutes, once weekly, and are coordinated by the Ligue de l'enseignement du Gers.
