Mission description

Gendarmerie cadet training is a learning and commitment experience for young volunteers aged 16-18. It often provides a first experience of collective living, combining sports, team-building, discovery of Gendarmerie careers, military initiation, and participation in departmental memorial and patriotic activities. Run by active and reserve personnel, it takes place during the school year over twelve days, arranged in two periods during academic breaks and some weekend days.
