Lire et Faire Lire invites volunteers to share reading pleasure with children. You'll read stories to small groups in schools, fostering a love of reading, intergenerational connection, and cultural awakening. Concretely: read children's books to groups of 2-6 children, discuss the stories with them, and participate in a calm, friendly moment around books. Sessions typically last 20-30 minutes once weekly. Coordinated by the Ligue de l'enseignement du Gers, Lire et Faire Lire means sharing reading pleasure and contributing to children's cultural development.
