I help manage school libraries (BCD)

Mission description

Want to introduce children to books and share your love of reading? Help organize libraries at schools in Dourdan! G. Leplâtre primary school needs volunteers to run its library (BCD). School libraries are essential for all children's access to books and reading, but cannot function without a strong volunteer team. Volunteer roles include: facilitating sessions in pairs—recommending books, reading aloud, helping with research and loans via the library system—and maintaining regular bi-weekly presence to welcome children by class group. You'll also participate in book selection and organization.
