Mission description

Bring languages to life! Become a volunteer animating a multilingual reading space for young children and families. AFaLaC seeks volunteers to accompany families in shared reading moments around mini-libraries installed in daycares or preschools. These spaces offer subtitled albums in families' languages to promote multilingualism, strengthen parent-child bonds, and encourage reading. Working in pairs with another volunteer or professional, you'll welcome families in a welcoming space, invite shared reading in their language, offer bilingual readings, and discuss books.
