Mission description

SOS Friendship offers telephone support for people in distress through anonymous, confidential, and free listening services. You'll be trained in active listening techniques and will help ease suffering, prevent suicide, and strengthen social bonds with isolated and ill people. You'll be mentored and integrated into a support group led by a psychologist. Listening takes place in Le Mans, requires 3-4 hours per week, and welcomes those who are attentive, non-judgmental, and compassionate.
