I visit isolated elderly people (at home or in care facilities). Take the leap: In 2021, 46% of seniors felt isolated from family and 57% from friends. Loneliness is especially acute in the Centre region, where 44% reported frequent loneliness and 16% feel lonely daily. Volunteers from Petits Frères des Pauvres work in the field with proximity-based actions to rebuild connections. A volunteer team is forming in Oucques/Marchenoir—we seek people willing to visit isolated elderly.
