Mission description

I visit isolated and vulnerable elderly people to combat their loneliness and rebuild social connections. Take the leap: In 2021, 46% of seniors felt isolated from family and 57% from friends. Loneliness is especially acute in the Centre region, where 44% reported frequent loneliness and 16% feel lonely daily. Volunteers from Petits Frères des Pauvres work in the field with proximity-based actions to rebuild connections and combat loneliness. Within a volunteer team, visit elderly people at home to break their isolation.
