The day center is open to lonely and/or isolated people, whether housed or homeless. Open Wednesday 2-5 PM and Friday 1-5 PM (with a warm meal offered). People are welcomed over coffee and snacks, offered opportunities to socialize, shower, do laundry, and receive guidance toward accessing their rights if requested. The center plans to open Monday afternoons starting January 2027. Caritas knows how to support people by meeting them at their level and assisting with their requests. You should be a good listener, enjoy teamwork, and maintain discretion and confidentiality.
