Mission description

Meet isolated people at home or in care facilities (nursing homes, care homes, etc.). Your mission is to share a pleasant time, conversation, and bring your smile. You may be paired with another volunteer initially. Visits last approximately 1.5 hours and occur monthly with a schedule coordinated within the volunteer team. Extreme isolation among elderly people has increased by 150% in less than a decade, with 750,000 seniors living in social isolation today, potentially affecting a million elderly by 2030.
