Mission description

Friendly Educational Mutual Aid (E.S.A) invites students, working professionals, and retirees to volunteer weekly supporting students whose parents cannot help them with schooling. This includes personalized support for the child (building confidence, teaching methodology, academic guidance), opening the child's mind to the world around them, and helping parents get involved in their child's education. We're looking for volunteer mentors to accompany children and young people toward success and independence, one hour per week during the school year. You help the child with their schoolwork: building confidence, reviewing basics, and finding effective study methods.
