Mission description

Support parents with homework help for children to reduce social inequalities and ensure educational continuity. You'll be matched with a student and family by the mission coordinator. Your role includes: exchanging with the student and parents, helping them organize their homework, supporting their methodology, organizing educational and cultural activities, discovering educational resources, adapting support to the child's needs, and building their confidence.

Le Centre social fait partie de l'Espace Famille de l’Adages qui propose une offre variée d’accompagnement avec un objectif : favoriser l’équilibre familial, prévenir les ruptures, et accompagner les familles dans leur quotidien. . Le Centre Social est un équipement de proximité, à vocation généraliste, ouvert à tous, et accessible à l’ensemble de la population de la Croix d’Argent. Lieu d’animation de la vie sociale locale il prend en compte l’ensemble des besoins et des aspirations de la population de son quartier. Il permet d’accompagner les projets des habitants et de soutenir la vie associative. Il vise l’amélioration sociale, le maintien ou le renforcement du lien social, la participation du plus grand nombre, en accordant une attention particulière aux familles et aux personnes confrontées à des difficultés sociales, économiques et culturelles. Le Centre socioculturel Espace Famille accueille et accompagne les publics de tout âge et de toute origine sociale et culturelle, principalement habitants du quartier Croix d’Argent mais aussi ceux résidant Montpellier dans sa globalité voire le département de l’Hérault, venant solliciter de l’aide aux démarches administratives et numériques. L’équipe accorde une attention particulière aux personnes les plus fragiles et les plus démunies.
