I become a fraternal companion to a hosted household
ASSOCIATION CATHOLIQUE POUR L'ACCUEIL ET L'ACCOMPAGNEMENT DES MIGRANTS (ACLAAM)Mission description
Fraternal companions hold an essential place in Aclaam network associations. Your role is to provide regular, caring, and stabilizing presence to a household hosted by a local association, like a family member supporting a family in difficulty. You support daily needs: help with procedures, understanding correspondence, organizing appointments, referrals to specialized organizations, and support for personal projects. You can also suggest social gatherings, activities, or simply maintain a relationship of trust. The goal is not to substitute for social workers, who remain the household's professional contacts, but to complement their work with a human presence.
