I join a volunteer workcamp for rural heritage restoration and community building at Thérouldeville Cemetery

Mission description

Arcade seeks young people aged 18-30 to volunteer on participatory heritage restoration workcamps for one week between June and October. The goal is to engage young people around rural heritage. Two activities on-site: Manual work restoring sites—masonry, carpentry, material handling, clearing, etc. supervised by professionals or local volunteers. Community engagement: visiting elderly people in care homes, shared meals, theatrical performances for residents. The rural municipality of Thérouldeville (672 residents) has a 16th-century stone church at its center with classified stained glass windows.
