I help organize a solidarity race against pediatric cancers

Mission description

Les Foulées de la chicorée raises funds for September in Gold by organizing timed races (10 and 5 km), children's races, and a 7 km hike on Sunday, May 16, 2027. We seek volunteers for race direction (driver's license required), refreshments, bib distribution, equipment setup/breakdown, course marking, photography. About 200 volunteers are needed for the race to happen. This race is important—it raises awareness about pediatric cancers and funds research. Proceeds go to Oscar Lambret Center. Pediatric cancers are increasing at 1% annually.
