I help a young person progress in their studies and gain independence
Habitat & Humanisme Ile-de-FranceMission description
Working with the social worker and support volunteer, you intervene with a child or adolescent within their family to: help with understanding lessons and completing homework, promote the development of work methods and independence, encourage the young person, recognize their progress, and strengthen their confidence, and establish a relationship of trust with the family within the framework set by the association. The volunteer does not aim to replace a teacher or provide private tutoring but rather accompanies the young person in their learning and helps them develop their abilities and autonomy. Experience in teaching, education, or youth support is a plus but not essential.
