Gendarmerie cadets aim to promote civic sense, citizenship, and republican values among youth; introduce the gendarmerie's missions, professions, and personnel; strengthen youth-gendarmerie relationships; lead collective projects serving the general interest (road safety, environmental protection, health prevention); and organize major events (solidarity, memorial, intergenerational). Joining offers a strong collective human experience with other young people and participation in varied citizen projects.
