The Society for the Protection of Animals has worked for 175 years for animal protection through a network of shelters, clinics, investigators, youth clubs, and an anti-trafficking unit. The SPA is seeking volunteers interested in a nonprofit mission to educate young people about animal respect and protection. Through its Youth Clubs, the SPA teaches 11-17 year-olds about animal protection. Under supervisor guidance, young people participate in various missions to help the shelter: walking dogs, animal care (exercise, grooming, socialization), and other educational activities promoting animal welfare.
