I answer calls for solidarity rides by phone

Mission description

I provide phone coverage for a solidarity transportation service (Solidarity Mobility). You help reduce isolation for people without transportation, especially those over 60, people with disabilities, or those seeking employment. You are part of a solution providing rides for medical or administrative appointments, shopping, activities, or family visits. You are invited to participate in meetings around Solidarity Mobility with other volunteers (drivers and coordinators) and association staff. During phone coverage shifts of 2.5 hours at the association's office, you receive ride requests from accompanied people.
