I participate in a sewing workshop to transform sports materials

Mission description

This creative sewing workshop transforms unsellable materials from the sports resource center (tent fabric, tarp, etc.) into new objects: bags, pouches, bike frame bags. The goal is to give value to materials destined for disposal while creating connections between participants. If you'd like to sew together for a upcycling project with unusual materials, this volunteer workshop is for you! Meet at the solidarity shop every Wednesday afternoon (unless canceled) at 2pm. We select materials together and the workshop takes place 2 minutes away on foot.
