I lead reading and cultural activity circles in prison with incarcerated individuals. Being a volunteer with Lire C'est Vivre means joining a community of active and retired people, passionate about or specialized in book professions, committed to reading for all and convinced of reading's benefits in prison. Volunteers organize and/or lead cultural events (National Reading Night, Spring of Poets, Science Festival, Prisoners' Goncourt, scientific lectures) and reading awareness sessions or read-aloud performances with the paid team.
