I mentor a child or young person in their education

Mission description

The Friendly Educational Mutual Aid (E.S.A) invites students, working professionals, and retirees to volunteer weekly supporting students whose parents cannot help them with schoolwork. This includes personalized accompaniment of the child (confidence-building, methodology, guidance), helping them engage with their surroundings, and assisting parents with their involvement in their child's education. We seek volunteer mentors to support children and young people toward success and autonomy for one hour per week during the school year, helping them regain confidence, review fundamentals, and find effective learning strategies.
